O/T Smallworld cable Broadband ISP

Smallworld cable Broadband/TV/Phone company have been leafletting around our street in Torrisholme this week.

Morecambe & Lancaster area (plus Cumbria and SW Scotland) is apparently served by Smallworld fibre-optic cable service. They claim Broadband download speeds of up to 25Mb/s :o

I have been with AOL Broadband for years, but the service is quite poor (eg service drop-outs, speed sometimes slow) and worse still is the customer service :( So I was thinking of changing Broadband supplier.

Does anyone have any experience with Smallworld?

I looked on the net, but there is only limited feedback - and hardly anything recent.

Any advice or info welcome - thanks guys (and gals!) :D

Been with them for over 5 years (They use to be WightCable), and they are great.

Works, its cheap and they never hassle you to upgrade / change package etc.

You need to get a line fed into your house, it replaces your phone line (if you want) so you can say goodbye to BT line charges.
