Good shot stopper, confident on crosses, kicking ok, all in all, impressive debut!

He was excellent. Came for crosses with confidence and either caught or punched. Didn't seem to flap at all. Kicking was good too with plenty of distance. And right at the last, he kept us in the game with a great save down to his left hand side from point blank range.

From the sounds of the commentary he played an absolute blinder! fair play to the lad, would of been nice to give davies a few more games!

He looked assured and commanded his box well. Played the ball out well, looking for the quick break if it was on.
Made a couple of good saves and, as has been said, came out to collect or punch away crosses.

I think in an ideal world we would have a keeper as good as Ben Smith as back-up to Barry Roche but until we move to the new stadium the turnover limits prevent this.

Scott is a good young keeper but IMHO he is on the bench in case Barry is injured in a game.

As there are less restrictions to loaning a keeper this fits in with the club's wages policy.

Agree with that assessment. I liked the way he retrieved the ball, got up quickly, ran beyond the group of players on the floor etc. then looked for the roll out to the wings ~ thing is he needs to remember we are in League 2 and there is'nt always someone there! He soon reverted to the confident kicking. Good keeper I.M.O. but could do to be more vocal, maybe it will help when he knows the players names!

Spoke to a Donny fan on Friday who said he will do a good job for us :D

Seemed to enjoy a bit of banter with the fans too, great performance imo.
