Keep The Faith!

Can't make the Torquay game tommorow (music stuff) but good luck to all of you with the balls to do it. We're due a change of fortune soon but Sammy's right in that if we can't score at one end and defend at t'other then we're not going to get the desired results (it's not rocket science!). The fixtures have been tricky, injuries horrendous but we've still got to get on with it.

I'd take a crabby 1-0 win tommorow - forget the performance. And if it means we have to dig in to get it who cares? Seems like we are going to try and be attacking though which is no bad thing. But if we get our noses in front then i hope the boys can see this one through.

Can't see anything wrong with the 3-5-2 system we are playing - it suits the players we've got. I just think we need a couple of positive results and we will be up an running. Sammy's clearly feeling the pressure but with a decent sounding on loan keeper we'll be fine and hopefully so will he. (Sammy and the new keeper.)

I still say we can finish top half and with Panther to return there's something to build on. So back Sammy, the players and keep the faith because it is the clubs that keep chopping and changing that ultimately end up in the biggest trouble. This is a time for everybody to keep their nerve and be positive as hard as that feels right now.

When panther comes back we'll be that side who beat Notts County, the side that scored 3 goals against Rochdale in the first half (2nd half was just a bad defensive mentality that cost us dearly) that's how important i believe he is to this team. I'd take any sort of point or points tomorow, again another away game with a team who do well at home.
Even if we draw again it will show strength and positivity as another away point is always good, just hope if it happens people remain patient.
Our next home game will finally be against a team in the bottom half and thats when i expect us to win.

I think a lot of us have forgotten just who we have played this season to date and their respective league positions. I'd suggest that no other team has had a more difficult start than us and that despite all the drawn games we can look forward with optomism to a more successful second quarter.

Interestingly the loan 'keeper has made no secret of his lack of competitive games and was by all accounts desperate for a loan move to gain experience. If he performs as well as other recent loanee 'keepers then he will have benefited from his time with us.

if we are at our best we can win at least our next 2 games which will move us up the table and restore the confidence in the team

I really do think its important that we dont lose tmw,i fear that if we drop into the bottom 2 we may be in for a long hard season

I think we need a minimum of a point tomorrow and then 4 points from the two home games.

If we loose tomorrow we have to win both home games.

He's at Bournemouth now and only conceded 8 in 12 games, wonder if his kicking has improved
