Its not that long ago that Oxford v Morecambe in the FA Cup was our chance to cause an upset, us plucky non-leaguers... How times change?

One thing in the report reminds me of something I've often wondered...

The 32 winning clubs in the fourth qualifying round will also receive £12,500 from the Football Association's prize fund.

Do you get "prize money" or "round money" [getting paid in pound coins?] In other words, do you have to win a game to get cash or would we get £12,500 in the First Round, even if we lose?

We would get nothing Keith as I understand it
if we break a club record and get to the fourth round then we pocket £112000 in the process
we dont get round money as such
the non league clubs its the same this year had we been in the conference and got to round one we would have pocketed £12500
so were having Morecambe v Oxford United then ten years on???
at our place in the pouring rain.........
chance to invite Jacko back :geek:

On the Barrow forum, there's talk of Chester fans doing some sort of protest with the Barrow fans more than happy to join in.

I believe the split was always 40% each after running costs were taken out of it.

Obviously the F.A take the other 20% :x
