Torquay ~ The 1st of the Six Pointers

Torquay ~ The 1st of the Six Pointers

Pretty much 6 x 6 pointers in 6 weeks = 666 :o

I hope the Devil is on our side particularly as we have a game on Howeleween!

I.M.O. this is the most crucial sequence of games in our Football League history and we must dig deep.

Torquay are full of confidence after their comeback last night.

we have to be looking for 12 points from those games:-

Torquay - draw
Northampton - Win
Lincoln - Win
Crewe - Draw
Cheltenham - Draw
Darlington - Win

If we still aren't picking up many points after these 6 games then it might be time to start getting concerned.

Yes and I am especially after the way the board has backed Sammy this summer I think for the players we have and probably the wage bill we have we should be higher up.

However to be fair we have had a hard run and you would take a draw from a lot of those games.
The 6 games coming up are the so called games we shoud win and after those 6 games I expect to see us up to midtable. If however after those games we are still in the same position as now then questions will need to be asked. We would have then had a hard run of games and a so called easier run which gives us the chance to make a balanced view.

Well 10/10 for their positve approach to the season so far. We could learn a thing or two from this but does me think a bit too over optimistic?

Yes always better to work your way up! ;)

"I have to say, after seeing the way Morecambe defended against Aldershot(it was worse than ours) we could thrash them!"

Maybe we have just lulled them into a false sense of security.

Oh well one point out of six so far suddenly I am a bit worried that we wont get the 12 points I said we needed.

the next 4 games are all winnable although Crewe away could be tricky.

We need wins against Lincoln, Cheltenham & Darlo and a draw at .

That would give us 11 points from the 6 games but I don't think we will get them.
