O/T Water meter charges

6 months ago we had a water meter installed on the advice that our water charges would be reduced.

This morning we've received a statement detailing how our charges are going to increase from November by 100%...and this after taking steps to reduce our consumption.

Needless to say that come Monday, CC will be having a 'rant' with United Utilities!

Your welcome! :)

If it serves to warn others, then that's good enough for me.

When I signed up for a water meter, they gave me the option to revert to a standard charge after 6 months if I was not happy with the charges incurred via the newly installed meter. I am a low water user so my bill actually went down, but you may be asking if you are entitled to this.

CC we have a water meter and our bills seem to be going up all the time I am not sure what the rates would be but I think we must be paying more than the standard rate.
