got in from work last night to be told of " trouble on heysham road" turns out that the "trouble" rumour was about shots being fired somewhere on heysham road,
police had closed heysham road at the battery area and were sending heysham bound cars down alexandra road, anyone heard anything else??

some one said it was the top end of Sefton Road lot of tales going round, but everyone is saying a gun of some sort was involved

I was cycling down Heysham road last night on my way to work when I was stopped just outside of Tesco's and turned back, I went onto the prom and past the scene at the end of Sefton rd where there was a heavy police presence with what appeared to be a Swat team.
When I arrived at work I was told that some bloke had been firing an Air rifle out of his window,
Not quite the Bronx...............................YET!

I heard that 3 kids were injured by the man, not to a serious extent though... Although sad times!
