Thats a good price, currently quoted as £75.20 p/p on a cheapday return!
We looked at the journey and did'nt fancy it
Lancaster 8.38 a.m. to arrive in Euston at 11.12
As the tube is closed to Upminster you arrive 1 hr 23 minutes later at Fenchurch St 12.35p.m.
Then another train for 21 minutes to Dagenham Dock, which is 2 miles from the ground ~ so a bit of a walk (I would suggest a Taxi) past the Ford Motor Works, up Ballards Road (via the Bull) then straight up South Rainham Road past the "CLOSED" Tube Station
Worse was to come on the way back with the last train from Dagenham Dock at 18.19 to get you to Euston on the 19.40 to change at Manchester Piccadilly on the 22.16 landing in Lancaster at 23.11
All credit to ya mate if thats what you are doing. I know someone else setting off friday night pretty much doing the same thing
As for us, we will be travelling from Southend on Saturday morning
