Thoroughly deserved win with plenty of positives. However, as much as we all enjoyed the performance the next two matches should provide a more accurate indicator of the team’s direction. As some of us see it the team will be less effective without Panther and this is a concern. Most people agree with the decision to drop Moss in what has become a problem position for the manager. Although playing out of position Hunter has been adequate at right back but nothing more as he does not offer much in an attacking sense. He puts in an honest shift but is not blessed with pace or creativity and on Saturday was caught out of position several times and plays too many backward passes thereby placing the responsibility on others. Having said that the other contenders appear out of their depth in the reserves.

Well done simply ned - you start your thread with a positive comment then go onto talk utter bollocks - hunter as done a great job at wing back and i for one hope he keeps is position there

Loving Ned's new positive attitude - brief sentence on how we did well in one of our best wins since we joined the league, then back to the "everything is mediocre" party line.

Shouldn't bite, but I think Hunter offered more in rightback in this one game that I've seen than anything Moss has done leading up to it. He's much more than "adequate" in that position.

I would be surprised if Sammy has given up on Darren Moss. From what was said at the time of his transfer he will be in the higher earning bracket so they will not want him wallowing in the reserves for ever.

Although its water under the bridge it makes you realise how much we miss Yates with his rampaging runs down the wing.

With Thommo turning 29 in a month or so and not getting a sniff of action at Scunny maybe a good career move for him would be as a wing/back for us.
