..sacked/left Lincoln.
Is the glass half full or half empty? Mmmm? hard to say - but it does look like there's room for more beer!

Due to being knocked out of the Carling Cup & JPT plus having a bad start to the season, sounds familiar !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

By which I assume you mean that Jackson has been particularly hard done to?

three of his best players left in the summer
Patulea to Orient League One
Frecklington to Peterborough Championship
NGuessan to Leicster City championship

cant have been easy to replace quality players like that with the likes of Rene Howe

shame for Peter Jackson a top footballing bloke and battled against throat cancer too

what a way to treat the guy............sorry but its shabby

There's more to it than just results. Has to be.

Lincoln have been down there before, and a few games into the season is no indication. Jacko has been sacked from bigger clubs than Lincoln so he won't be too distressed I shouldn't think, but there must be more to this than meets the eye.

......but that's the environement that all football managers operate in. It's the only job i know (other than failure in the financial world) where failure to deliver results in the majority of cases results in a nice financial settlement. The likes of you and I are given a week / months salary and that's it. Some managers have made a fortune out of being failures.

There are very few managers who go throughout their career without being sacked at some point.

There's no sentiment in life in general these days.
