Thought this was going to be about the fireworks prior to kick-off. My first home game of the season last night, and the first time I've seen them. I hope whoever is responsible realises that they are half-arsed at best and if we are paying for them, a complete waste of money. For me they add nothing to the match experience other than embarrassment, not sure how others feel.

I was going to mention the fireworks, friends of mine from carlisle thought they were hilarious, its a shame and they need to be scrapped as away fans will be laughing at us, the players probably feel embarassed as well.

The song was Uprising by Muse. Don't know if it is out yet as I got an advance copy. Great track. I love it. Will be playing it again on Friday.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vf8bKkXU_2sInteresting video (PG if young folk are squeamish)
Not an official video, it is clips from "
V For Vendetta"
It works well though!

Not sure if that is the actual music video Keith, looks like somebody has played the song over the top of some scenes from the film 'V for Vendetta' (worth a watch if you've not seen) which was made in 2005. Can't imagine Muse would use an old film (in which the track does not feature) to promote their new song. Top tune though.

You posted as I was editing my post. It works well though. Notice a brief shot of Stephen Fry?

Speaking of Half time
Mark S - where you on instant messenger or windows live, I could here a tone which sounds similar to the "you have a new message" tone on Messenger.

Shame the Muse/V for Vendetta video has been removed from YouTube but the film has just been on BBC Three. What a fantastic film. Worth keeping an eye open in case it gets shown again, BBC Three often show a film a few times during a run.
