You've got to give a lot of credit to Jimmy Bell and John Coleman as they are a decent management team but also great with their PR and spin. Everyone knows that Accy are under the cosh financially; that they loaned Mullin out to Bradford City at the end of last season because they were struggling to pay his wages; and that the put him on the transfer list after he rejected a massively reduced salary on a new contract http://www.4thegame.com/club/bradford-c ... departure/).

Yet apparently, "they enquired about a loan a couple of weeks ago", and despite loaning him out to Bradfud, "We [Accy] wouldn’t even consider that".

And despite being desperate to slah his salary and putting him on the transfer list, "Possibly they’re getting desperate to bring someone in, but they would need to make us a very good offer".

“Paul is still part of our plans.”

Hilarious but they'll try and squeeze us for every penny.

Just as we would do in their position. However knowing how astute we are in any financial matters concerning transfer fees (ie the Ebbsfleet deal) I'm sure that whatever fee we may agree to, assuming that it gets that far, is a reflection of the guys age and possible short term useage.
