but did anyone read the swansea report?
good grief they were almost down to six men!!!!
i can only remember us having a couple of players sent off at southport think it might have been when keith almost started a riot around97/98 or could have been 98/99
can anyone remember in our games anything like this happening?

The best (worst??) I can remember it frequently used to happen in the Anglo-Italian Cup. This wasn't so much an international friendly cup competion as a bloodbath. I seem to remember Southend United v someone like Torino ended 8 players to 7 after a 21 man brawl lasting 5 minutes.

The first final was Swindon v Napoli in the Sao Paolo stadium. Swindon were 3-0 up so the Italian fans pulled the stadium to pieces in a massive riot and Swindon won the title by default.

Yeah there is, swansea did actually go down to six men when besian idrizaj was injured but the referee MADE him come back onto the pitch when he was clearly still injured, just so the match didn't have to be abandoned
