August, September, October etc etc etc...
I don't give a toss what month it is, to see our team second from the bottom after all the talk of 'we've got to be better than last season' is hard to take.

I do not see a plan, Stanley (imo our best player, barring loans and barry) on at the end was a bit odd, players that usually pass it around quite well not doing so
The way things are going they might as well build the sainsburys on westgate

You obviously didn't go to the game last week. Craig Stanley consigned himself to the bench after a terrible game at Burton. He had a great game against his old club for the opening game when he was brought on, but Sammy's options have been and are limited by injuries (Gaz Hunter, Fraser) and finances. Manny Panther played a great game for us today and worked his proverbials off all over the park, well worthy of MOTM, but with 5 minutes to go I thought we needed Stanleys fresh legs and pace. Players have to compete and earn the shirt and make the best of chances when they've got them.
For 'the plan' players need to perform and Sammy to use squad players effectively to get goals, results and points in the bag. Still time to turn and make our luck.

We are doing better than last season though. It's just that those teams around us are also doing better!

Jevons will not deliver in the quantity that we want until Sammy decides to play somebody along side him...not 15 yards away. Take a look at all the successful partnerships and the 2 work together as a team.
To suggest as some have that both he and Craney are lazy is ridiculous in my poinion.

I wouldn't say they are lazy. But Jevons will be getting frustrated about the lack of clear cut opertunitys, and for me yesterday Craney wasn't the same player that i have seen in pervious matches he was a little disapointing for me..

What the hell can someone do in 5 mins , what a load of bollocks he might not even get a touch of the ball in that time . If your going to bring fresh legs on and use them effectively then they need to be on for at least 15 mins to have any sort of impact on the game .

I went to Burton and if we had dropped all the players who had a terrible game there we would have had the youth team playing Macclesfield yesterday !
Stanners is one of the best midfield players in the league 2 not just at Morecambe and should be a starter IMHO.

If you look at the League 2 Table in the Sunday Express its even worse as the bottom team are Grimsby, Morecambe and Darlington not even listed . Are we doomed already

Don't get me and my crew onto the subject of late substitutions, especially within the last 5 minutes as usually it makes no difference.

..I can think of at least one person who is financially committed to our club who I suspect will be concerned.

No idea.....but the rumour mill was working O/T in the bar pre-game and it's thought that he's spat his dummy out once too often. Something to do with 'facebook'....???????
