Early 'soft' goals have been our downfall. I don't like to single players out for criticism, but I think it has been noticable how many times Darren Moss has been involved, or beaten, or missing when we've conceeded these soft early goals. He seemed impressive in his early preseason games, but it has been mentioned he plays best as a right back rather than a wing-back, so I think there's crucial positional tactics to sort out here. At the moment I wonder why we let Yatesy go. Andy Parish is waiting on the bench and I think plays a good wing-back role. Individual performances, the squad, the tactics and the opposition style all have to be carefully calculated and modified quickly during a game to get us winning points. But we did compete well today and we will come good.
