Edgar street has had its capacity cut to 5,074 from 7,115 as the away end (Blackfriars) is closed for safety reasons. The minimum requirement for league status is 5,000 :o A proposed new stand will create another 1,500 but is almost 4yrs away from being ready. Also to rub salt into the wounds some urgent work is required on the Meadow end (home end) before January 2010 just to maintain the minimum league requirement.
Wonder what they'll do for the derby game against rivals Shrewsbury in November when anywhere between 1000 and 1600 away fans will travel?
Wonder what will happen if they drop below the minimum league requirement?

....they'll probably appeal to the Welsh FA who will then make a further appeal at European level and then International level, by which time it will all be done and dusted.

If they need help in 'how to avoid' doing what is expected of them..they only need to take a look up the road at that half and half club in Chester.
