Striker v Preston

It seems Phil Jeavons has got flue and looks unlikely for tomorrow. As Wayne is injured and Aaron is away on loan I presume Twissy and Craney up front, or will Moose be our saviour. He did score last time at Deepdale :roll:

good luck for tomorrows ( tue ) nights game against preston, we beat them before and we can do it again. come on you supports get yourselfs to preston f.c. it will be good night if we win, it will boost our confidence for the start of the season.

Probably too late now, but i wonder if this could speed up the loan deal for the striker everybody seems to know about but few know who it actually is. :?: :?: :?:

Yes too late i think cc - dont players need to be signed by a certain time the day before a match

It says on that BBC link Sammy McIlroy has won one of his last 6 League Cup ties as manager.

Didn't we win 2 a couple of seasons ago, giving him a record of 2 out of his last 4?

Yes. as Morecambe Manager in 2007 we beat Preston and Wolves to then lose at Sheff. Utd.

In 2008 we lost at Notts. Forest. 2 Wins, 2 Losses.

We have yet to have a Carling Cup Tie at Home :!:
