Mark Hudson

released today by Blackpool despite playing against Crewe.

He looked one of the better trialists this Summer and with McLatchlan out for the season maybe he could play as the defensive midfielder.

Good shout, but would prefer to see Drummy in that role if Hudson came on board. However listening to Sammy tonight it seems very unlikely that we'll be signing any more for the time being. Even looks as though the loan striker has fallen through which for me is very bad news.

Will Twissy become that much needed target man for PJ to work off?

I though Twissy was superb the other night and got just reward for his efforts with an excellent goal.

I thought Sammy said " He was hoping to get somebody in by w/end " to cover for Fraser's long term injury. I too thought Hudson played well during his trial period , tough tackling and good distributon.

Twissy would be ideal, just hope he can get his confidence back which will have been boosted by that goal at Preston , that i still haven't seen  .
