o/t - Charity Tabletop and Auction at the York
Posted: Mon Aug 10, 2009 9:10 amWe are hosting a charity Tabletop sale (indoor car boot) and Auction in aid of the Aden Veterans Association on Friday 21st august at 6.30pm.
The organisers are looking for bric a brac, DVD's, Good Books etc - maybe any old football memorabilia (I could organise a table just for footie related stuff, programmes etc)
Prizes for an auction and raffle are also sought after from individuals and local businesses. So far we have a Morecambe FC signed shirt, various pictures and a great family day out on the Haverthwaite Steam Railway.
It's free to get in and bar snacks will be available - children welcome.
Please help to support these old boys who were fighting in the Gulf area many years before we had the Iraq and Afghanistan conflicts.
