Can we get our tickets on the gate at Deepdale or do they need to be bought in advance? What are the prices for adults, students and children? I know it may have been mentioned before but I can't see anything on the offical site

Adults £12
Concession/Juniors £5

It is pay on the gate I think, but I bought mine in advance and they were sent free of charge.

Don't think you can pay on the gate - seem to remember a massive queue at the ticket office the last time.

Probably going to arrive early at the ground so will head for the ticket office. What pubs are people going to be drinking in? Any decent curry houses near the ground?

Technically correct, Dave, but it should be made clear that it IS possible to pay on the night, but at the away ticket office next to the away turnstiles, as you mention!
