Has today signed for Barrow on a 1 month loan. Just talking to him now, said it will be good to get some first team experience at a good standard of football. Good luck to the fella.

It will answer questions about whether he is good enough, whilst at the same time not risking finding out he's not good enough ourselves. Hope he learns a lot, Barrow will toughen him up and when he comes back could partner Jevons upfront.

I suspect a further more experienced player / target man will fill this role before the close of the transfer window.

Should be longer than a month. He should be on loan for a season.
