People moaning about our defence........looks like its a little bit stronger now.

Perhaps we could persuade her to become Ken's glamorous half-time assistant? Only then would we know if he really has the balls!!!

Can I take a second to thank Sammy and the Morecambe Board.

Money has been spent on quaility, in all the areas I felt needed addressing and now believe we have a squad that can take the club to the next level.

I'm blooming excited and last time I felt like this we ended up at Wembley and League 2. Roll on League 1.

Now lets get behind them, even when its goes bad (it will at times) but we're going up!

Although I feel we need a striker more urgently, I like the sound of this guy. Given Sammy said he was possibly looking for one more player after Haining, we're either gonna have a bigger squad than last season or some are gonna have to go out on loan (not just Taylor)...

I've been saying the same thing for weeks.

This signing is by the sounds of it another quality player who will probably walk into the team as of tomorrow. For me without question he's got to replace Arts who boots the ball 9 times out of 10 anywhere except to one of our players.

Haining comes with a reutation for being cool under pressure and in my team would play alongside Danny with Moss and Wilson at full backs. Alternatively I'd like to see Haining alongside Drummy as a centre back pairing.

Ian Holloway is an absolute star!

"His pedigree is unbelievable - if he was a dog he'd win Crufts," Holloway told the Blackpool Gazette.

Sounds a good player but must say I am starting to worry about our wage bill I am amazed we can have 24/25 players as I would think this years budget is a lot smaller than last years.

For me I would loan out Henry McStay before Dave Artell. Every time Henry plays he seems to gift the oppostion a goal.
I hope I'm wrong but maybe Will Haining has been brought in to cover for Jimbo in case his injury is worse than feared and assuming we go back to 5 3 2 then the 3 centre backs tomorrow will be Adams Haining and Arts.

I am sure the new signing will be an excellent addition to the squad, we have added quality this season whereas last seasons additions ( some of them ) turned out to be a little disappointing, i have noticed the thread about dodgy defence and i have to say its comical, last season we kept so many clean sheets due to not only a great season for Barry but also Jimbo Arts Danny Adams and Yatesy all playing there part, people are quick to slag off the pace of jimbo and artell but i dont think you could count on one hand the amount of forwards that left Jimbo standing last season, the pace issue maybe down to a slight lack of communication sometimes whereas either jimbo or artell go out of position to help out the full back and are left a little exposed so hopefully Will can prove to be more vocal like jim is and work together as a partnership, the fact artell was only offered a one year contract maybe a factor although its only my personal opinion so dont jump down my throat if you know different, whatever happens i feel this is our strongest squad for a good few years certainly our best FOOTBALL LEAGUE squad for sure, good luck to the boys, roll on tomorrow
