Thank God for NHS

Postby parceldave » Wed Aug 05, 2009 6:08 am

I had to have some emergency dental treament yesterday, which my girlfreind managed to book very quickly and i was so grateful for the pain relief. Until i got the bill that is and suddenl i got these chest pains when after about 10 mins work she told me it was 90€. She then wrote me out a prescription for Anti- biotics and painkillers which i took to pharmacy , where i had my second heart atack after i was charged another 43€. I think if i had known that beforehand the toothache would have repaired itself, it was almost as painful as paying 10€ for a glass of wine. :o :o :o

Or more to the point, a European Health Insurance Card?
