As I was about to enter the ground yesterday a steward asked me what was the postcode where I lived? Was this because we were playing Barrow or is this going to be a regular thing?
I have no problem with it though,as I only display thuggish behaviour on Mondays ;)

I got asked once, they weren't going to let me in because I answered truthfully that my postcode is DH1. Only let me in because I had my Morecambe shirt on under my coat.

its ok to ask postcodes to unsure we don't get any away supporter or people who have just come to cause trouble but what if you don't live local and you are not wearing anything to do with morecambe FC can you not go and whatch the game or do you have to watch it as an away fan

Isn't it always?

Don't remember me at away games, don't remember whose round it is? Oh dear! That's how it starts!

So if I give my Morecambe postcode should they ever play Exeter City again (and I hope we do at some stage), it is OK to stand with the Shrimp's fans despite the fact I am an Exeter supporter? I think I have found a loophole in the system!

yes which will also make it fun when we play Bradford and it's a good job we didn't get Preston at home.

Aldershot (Drummie scoring a cracker) and Grimsby (Harry Gunter's even better belter) were both in the wrong 50% then or do you only do the easy ones, like Chester? 8-) 8-) 8-)

this postcode stuff does not allways work I could go to say Accrington V Morecambe and give a Blackburn postcode and get into the home end
