Eric de freitas is a 22 year old American lad.

Looks like he has been playing mostly for his university in the USA but the comments suggest Blackpool had him on trial so I'm fairly certain this is the guy.

That's right, and there's concerns about him getting a work permit too.

If hes the lad who played on the right wing he looked a decent prospect

id forgotten there would be no powerpoint and i forgot to charge up my lap top
Eric De Freitas had a great chance in first half from 12 yards good save by Fearon though
put some great crosses in from the right including the goal assist for Rory Winters header

Paul Jarvis took his first time volley well too

chances at both ends with Lancaster hitting post through Fennely and Rushton clipping bar at start of second half
Matty Poole did well with a 15 yard effort which came back off the post in the 78th minute

most of the other lads were academy and of course Jackson and Winters getting games
starts for Roche Wainwright Drummond Curtis and Farrelly who went off injured

should have scored in first half and looked promising but only young and slight
but who knows maybe in time he may come good

Was a bit of a non match really - a few of us commented over a few drinks later that we wouldn't have bothered if we'd known what the team was beforehand. Not being disloyal or anything - we just wanted to see a decent side batter City.
