Ola! ive just got back from spain and i thought that this would make some people feel proud to be a morecambe supporter again from our loss against Kendal:

i found myself drinking in an irish bar which was next to a hotel, and later on in the night there was a group of 10 Man utd fans sitting in the corner singing "take me home" etc etc, then some 3 Arsenal fans started soon after, and there was a bit of a friendly rant going on
when for a moment there was a brief pause, and i started off; "bring me sunshine"
both looked at me, had a chuckle, but then started to sing the song with me :o :o

i thought that it showed we arnt that small - or that Morecambe and Wise was popular with everyone haha - but they :o knew the song well and i thought that was great from these Glory supporters

Could you say that of our fans ? Hmm It is played at every home game but hardly anyone gets past the first verse, It would be great to hear the song during the last 5 mins as per west ham,Man Cite and them lot @ Anfield. It's a great sig tune, but do we do it justice :?:

No we don't do it justice.

it's up to us that know the words to teach the kids and also sing up on match days.

Last season the issue of fans not singing raised it's head several times and I know there are many fans that have a good winge about us not making enough noise but when it comes to match days they don't sing themselves.

The middle of Northstand are always vocal. would be good to see/hear that spread a bit further this season.

Roll on Saturday!
