I know these orders are usually picked up and sent out daily (weekdays anyhow) however the lady in the shop is on holiday at the minute, i don't expect it will be ignored until her return but it maybe be that little bit longer. Not sure if that help though!!!!

Karen's not the only one that works in the shop.

I think she's the only one who works in there full time which is why it may not be as efficiently sent out as it usually is.

I kid you not.......

that, for anyone who hasn't done any desktop publishing or dummy ads, dummy text for mock-ups of brochures etc, is the standard script you get from computer programmes when you're wanting to show how these things will look with text on them.

We once did a mock recruitment ad for a display ad rep, the ad featured a dummy page of the kind of stuff they'd be selling ads on if they got the job, all mocked up and using this faux latin text, but with headlines like 'Care assistant wanted', 'Cafeteria staff' etc. But just with half the ad showing, the rest covered by a photo of one of our ad reps, saying "Come and Join Our Team" or something similar.

The first hour of the morning it went in the paper all I did was field calls from irate people who either: wanted to apply for the jobs but couldn't read the phone numbers on the ads or, complained because we were showing preference to Poles - 'you should be advertising the jobs to local people first!' etc.

We ran the same kind of ad the next week but with headlines like 'Giraffe tamer' and 'Zeppelin builder'...
Is the glass half full or half empty? Mmmm? hard to say - but it does look like there's room for more beer!
