It was Craney that missed the Pen.

We have been a lot better this week, the new guys have added some bite and we are attacking more. Scott was too slow to go down for their first goal. The second goal came after lots of subs made. Both goals have been shots from outside the box.

The first half (with both teams starting with strongest line up) we did really well and should have gone in 1 - 0 up. Their trialist RB (Szelesi) was turned inside and out and didnt come back out for second half.

All in all a very positive performance (with 5 mins to go)

Glad someone was watching carefully, I was at the other end of the pitch

Great performance first half, we outplayed them all over the pitch. Craney showed some nice touches and really showed his talent weaving past 2 or 3 players around 15 minutes in. Second half we made some changes, which gave Plymouth more space and they upped their game to be fair.

Also, I'd sign Larkin - showed alot more than Taylor does and has abit of pace aswell!

If we continue to play like we did first half, then ...... WOW :) Bring on August 8th, it's time to see some competative football!

Yep, thought we played very well first half. Created lots of chances, mainly through an excellent performance by Lawrence Wilson on the left, and Craney working hard and creating chances and deserved his penalty and Larkin who showed some great control and touches. We were a different team after the changes and struggled to compete. Rather odd that we played in our away blue kit when the contrast to green wasn't that obvious. :?: But overall not bad and lots of positives.

For me the MoM was without question Mark Duffy and until he went off we looked to be doing well.

Of the new signings Ian Craney was..well the Craney we hated when at Accy but will love now he's joined a proper footbal club. Still the terrier he's always been chasing down what appears to be lost balls and has a shot that will deliver goals.

Jevons looks good BUT he needs a big man alongside of him to get on the end of knock downs. What he isn't (in my opinion) is a target man. Give him an opportunity and he'll score. Not afraid of trying the spectacular either.

Larkin could be worth at least a 3 month contract. He's got things about his game that with work in the squad could be capitalised on.

If only we could get a hustle and bustle type of forward who would roughen up a defence and create openings for his fellow strikers then we'd certainly prove to be a handfull this coming season.

Anybody know where we can get such a player..... :?: ;) :?: ;) :?: ;)

Over to you Sammy.... ;) ;) ;)
