They've signed Lee Hughes aswell :o

Can see him filling his boots in this league, expect him to bag 20 goals plus against weaker defences ;)

They're rumoured to be after Billy Sharp now as well, which probably ought to seal promotion.

How will they get around the wage cap when it comes to paying these people big salaries. Is that why sven isn't on a wage but gets a dividend like payment or the Arabs just plough a load of money in at the start of the season under "sponsorhip" and say that is part of their turnover.

I think Sven in his press conference said he realises noone can pay big wages in League 2 and I took that as meaning because of the wage cap.

Some of us have got them at better odds (and Rotherham).

I do need Luton to win as well for a real payout, though.
:o

The wage cap isn't a problem if the owners make a big, non refundable cash injection. As long as it's not a 'loan' they can do it through, for example, a share issue.
Is the glass half full or half empty? Mmmm? hard to say - but it does look like there's room for more beer!

So does anyone know who the owners actually are?

The FA still don't know

I don't however think 12,000+ for a friendly and for currently a league 2 club bad at all.

Scorers for County, Lee Hughes and Luke Rodgers who have both only just signed

I agree 12,000 is a fantastic turn out for a friendly match.
