PLEASE SAY IT ISN’T TRUE

The latest rumour doing the rounds in East Lancs is that the Shrimps manager is now being offered a new incentive bonus to ensure the team is still in the football league when we move to the new stadium.
Apparently the powers that be are concerned at what they have seen and with the continuing difficulties in attracting new players for key positions.
IF this rumour is true then I think it is outrageous as surely the manager already has a decent contract and has stated several times that his key objective is to ensure the team is in the football league when the new stadium opens. Any new incentive would be seen as desperation and rewarding something that is not working.
Alternatively perhaps it is just mischief making by our friends from East Lancs having noticed our current poor form.
