Yeah, my first thought was this:

But considering time has moved on we will no doubt have to settle for this:

Is that clear enough for you?

I think Sven has visited Christie Park more recently than Aspers. I think he was there when we played Man City in a pre-season match (with Schmeichel in goals for them).

So how did that work out then?

nope he wasn't there then bevcause City were on a pre season tour somewhere and they sent the reserve side.

Sven has been appointed dictector of football this morning

There is a news conference on sky sports news at 12 if anyone is interested. might pull a few more to Christie Park when we play Notts county.

A player that rejected a contract from county last week has now signed.

Sven stated he is not in it for the money and that he is "boss of football"

His 1st transfer target could well be Sol Campbell :o I know he is aiming for the Premiership the hard way but does he know which League we are in

I don't think it is the £40K a week that is the attraction, it is more likely the 3:1 ratio of women to men in Nottingham! Lock up ya daughters

Isn't Sven's actually a share holder and his pay out depends on how well the club do.

So If Mcparland gets off to an average start I can see him going and Sven becoming manager.

I also can't see why they need Tord Grip I never understood why England needed him it's like the only way he can make a living is from his mate geting him a job.

These Middle Eastern owners seem to be hell bent on ruling the roost. Look at Man. City offering Terry £1M a month. We are in a credit crunch while these people seem to have found something to keep themselves amused splashing out their dosh. They are probably not aware that Sven has a right hand man, as they were just told to get a grip :!:

The whole thing is just ridiculous.

Football is just the current plaything of billionaire foreigners who do not truly understand what they are playing with, the passion of the fans, the emotions involved and the damage they could cause.

Sven has been appointed "bacause he has good contacts" probably true if you are a premier league club - bet he cant even name a league two manager never mind contact one.

Short term will be a fantastic ride for the fans of Notts county but could end really badly.

These foreign owners (of all clubs not just Notts County) will get bored and a new toy will come along and football is in a right mess then. Bring back the days when Chairman of football clubs were local businessmen who cared

Yes and needless to say Sky have got Sven, sorry Notts. County, on Live TV for his (their) home match which has been moved to 11th October.

Not as strange as you think - England are playing on the 10th so Sky always show lower league matches on the Sunday as there is no Premier League
