GF was on the team sheet for the Southport game but didn't get a game.

Has he left without being given an opportunity by Sammy, even though he was invited to pre-season by SMc?

Last season both he and Jack Briely gave some impressive performances for the reserves. JB has trialed for Barrow.

I asked Duffy about him on Friday, and he said that he'd be playing on Tuesday?

wouldnt it be more prudent to ask questions like this directly to Sammy
when youre down to watch the team?

If Briarly is having trials at Barrow why would we want him? Especially in that he's another striker who's not yet the finished article.

I think that what he's saying is that if he was any good he would have been picked up by a League club already and not have to be on trial at a club who will be looking to avoid relegation from the Conference this season.

I watched him play in his game for the reserves, he scored four goals in the game so i think as a trial thats just around full marks

I haven't seen him play and fair enough if he's scored plenty of goals for our reserves, but he's had a trial spell with us and Sammy obviously didn't rate him enough to snap him up permanently.
