Recognise him anybody?

He was on trial with us but JH thought him not good enough for the Conference and he eventually ended up at Accy. Moved to 'uddersfield 2 seasons ago and was followed eventually by Ian Craney who is now at ?.

The said Gary Roberts looked excellent today. ;) ;) ;)

Just another one that got away. :( :( :(

And did anybody notice who their Assistant Manager was?

None other than ex Liverpool midfielder and former Newcastle Assistant ... Terry McDermott.

There no 9 seemed to be really good. He tore our defence to shreds.

On the official team sheet it also looks like they are now managed by our fave local removal man, LEE CLARKE

Any one know him :?: :?: :?:]

Also spotted Derek Fazackerley on the coaching staff, a legend at Ewood Park and also assistant to Kevin Keegan at Newcastle, Man City and England. Looks as though Lee Clark has got an excellent backroom team around him.

I might be alone here but I thought they looked a lot sharper than Burnley. If what I hear from their Press is correct about wages, they should be! Put money on them being promoted.

I think Burnley looked like it was a training match fot them, they could have stepped it up and scored more goals, Huddersfield are a very good team, and i think played very well for their excellent away fans.

The team we had out was not our regular team, my only worry is that we all know we need one or two goalscorers and it looks like we aint gonna get em

Agree they did look sharper all over but I think that was down to their attitude and the need of certain ones (No9 in particular) to impress their managment team including T McD.

I'm hoping for 100% better over the coming games because the season starts proper in 3 weeks less a day. Having said that a lot can happen in 3 weeks and i know I keep repeating myself but Howe wasn't brought in until the eve of the season.

Interestingly yhe 18 year old from Leicester didn't appear for Stanley yesterday. He hasn't been kidnapped on the road somewhere has he? ;) ;) ;)

Billy Kee doesn't officially join us until August 1st. The deal is done but he is carrying on pre-season with Leicester. Should join us ready to demolish a few tiring back lines!

I'd have preferred him to be here already so tha the can gel with the team but its not up to us ....
