Training update Saturday 11 July

The squad will be training this morning and possibly this afternoon at the University on land in front of Bailrigg House.

I'm sure that Sammy and the lads wouldn't mind if people went to watch...as long you don't get too close.

NB There are no bushes to hide behind!

My brother is currently in charge with maintaining the pitches/ land at the site, he can't give any clues as to who is doing what though, so Neil, we rely on your expert updates.

Tell him to get his mower out.....

The grass is too long and flowers are growing in the training areas!

CC did you manage to work out what time the sessions are this year I went down at 12 it looks like they have already finished the 1st session.

No but I'll do my best to find out.

As for today, I think I got it wrong (for a change :o ) but they may have been using part of the college grounds. The team transit van was there at about 3pm.

If it's any consolation, I went to the Uni to have a look whilst my wife and daughter went shopping in town. :( :( :( only to find the training ground was empty.

It was the academy lads at the college today, on the field opposite McDonalds.

They were up at the uni today between 10.00am and approx 12 noon.Spoke to Jimbo and Artell they said training was going ok a lot tougher than last season.They were looking forward to tuesday nights game obviously not Jimbo.He is coming along fine no contact,but is able to do the running side of training,which is encouraging.

good to hear that he can still do some of the training did he say when he would be back :?:
