More signings for other clubs today eg macclesfield for one and they havent got the finance or the attendances we have. We need to step on the gas it doesnt always pay to play a waiting game as was proved last season .Lets have some action please

Sammy was/is on holiday, I'm sure he'll soon get some players when he returns.

Why let a perfectly good right attacking back go elsewhere and not be prepared to spend the money to replace him . Yates has been really consistent last season and you cant say that about many of our players

don't necessarily need to replace him if we are to play the same formation next season
Wainwright
Duffy
Henry Mcstay somebody who's played right back all is career , not as good going forward as Yates, but certainly a better defender

Yates is from Milton, Stoke, so it makes perfect sense as he had desired to join a club "nearer home" to let him go.
Thats what i've been lead to believe for the last month or so.

Only if they can agree terms with the vice - chairman, as the right back S.M wanted couldn't . Anyway ,there was nothing wrong with the one we had .

This just shows how the Player/Agent/Club game of poker actually functions. The players are linked to Clubs they have no intentions on going to but are put in the shop window by speculation. Some turn out true and others are just a smoke screen.
Trying to understand the transfer market:
