I hope Barca win but think Utd might do it I think Barca's defence might be a bit dodgy.
Howver I hope they will be able to just bomb forward and score more goals.

On Sky Sports News they have been talking to Man Utd fans in Rome.
None of them sound remotely like they come from Manchester and very few of them sound like they come from England.
talk about supporting your local team !!

well played Barcelona..
although Ive never been keen on Ronaldo as a striker, not as effective with his back to goal, better running at people like he does week in week out.
Sir AF had a good game plan at the start by packing the midfield in order to stop Barcelona playing, but it back-fired big time

As an armchair Utd fan I'm
....but in fairness to Barca they outpassed and totally outplayed a very sterile Utd.
I just hope that our Commander in Chief took notice of how by playing it on the deck how effective it can be by frustrating the opposition and then striking with speed when frustration is taken over by sheer desperation.

What a sweet sweet moment that was for me. After living in Manchester surrounded by southerners who 'support' man u and never shut up about it, I enjoyed watching that game tremendously. The silences as the goals went in, you could hear them all taking off their reversable man u/barca shirts so that they could say they're barcelona supporters at full time all around the pub.
What annoys me though, is that for glory supporters, that is considered a low, but then I just think how little they must enjoy the highs for not suffering real lows like a true fan does.
Great game, and great fun to see glory supporters knocked off their high horse!

I'd go as far as to say that was the worst performance I've seen by an English side in European Cup final. In trying to out-football the best football side on planet earth with the likes of Carrick, Park, Giggs, and Anderson in the midfield SAF got it totally wrong IMO. It was not even a contest and should have been more than 2-0. At least this firmly ends the debate; best Manchester United side ever, you must be joking!

Just wondering if pep guardiola is the youngest manager to win champions league at just 38 - also by winning tonight means barcelona are first spanish team to win the treble - and i know this might be contreversial with all the plastic mancs but messi is different class to ronaldo just my opinion

But they didn't just lose it did they, completely outplayed. For me this side has nothing on the one which hosted Scholes, Giggs, Beckham et al in their prime. This side has some quality players, but if Rooney and Ronaldo don't show up it is very average. Certainly not the bet ever, as many have been crowing about on BBC sport recently.

TBH I rate Iniesta over Messi anyday, he was quality tonight.

A fine line between success and failure this season for United.
1. IF Torres and Gerrard had played more together earlier in the season for L'pool
2. IF Guus had been there all season for Chelsea.
3. They only scraped through the Carling Cup Final on pens BUT!
IF's & BUT's I know but i could go on.
Ah well, we will see next year.

It seems the United players knew Ronaldo was already on his way out - maybe explains why they were uninspired
