BBC football site

It's nearly 3 weeks since we lost 0-4 at home to Bournemouth and that's still the last BBC site article and a loitering reminder of a really crap performance that soured a good end of season.
What would I think if I was a football fan considering adopting a new club and this was my first port of call?

If anyone from our publicity department reads this, could you not put out a bit of positive club news (anything at all) for the benefit of this site?

We've signed Duffy since then, if the BBC chose not to report that, there's not a lot anyone can do about it.

I suppose we'll have to do without the legions of potential fans who choose which club to support by browsing the BBC web site :?

Although technically, CC, I don't think sarcasm can be viewed through a mirror -------- a bit like being vampyric.

The BBC gets ALL our press releases on syndicated copy. We have sent loads since the end of the season that are picked up by Yahoo and others including Sky Sports about 5 minutes after we send them.
I really don't know why the BBC has not altered the site.
Hope that helps.

Never mind about the BBC BB, what about the MFC Official site? Sadly it's there too as soon as you open the home page. I reckon it must be deliberately left there as an immediate prominent reminder for as long as possible to depress and anguish as many players and people as possible in order to ensure it never happens again :!:

It was a blip that's turned into a bliiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii...............................

Aphorchasm : the gulf between the comprehension of a peddlar of irrelevant aphorisms and the person who did get it, but merely observed it was sarcastic. ;)

See what I've done there.

Regarding the BBC and ourselves. I believe the BBC has a deal with the Football League from next season to 2012 and will be showing live Championship games such as Newcastle/Hull (delete relevant) v Middlesbrough. I know that all the football league goals will be on the BBC website but does anyone know if the BBC's live games deal extends beyond showing live Championship matches and to showing a bit of live League 2 of a Sunday afternoon.

No, but Sky will show a few more live League1/2 matches to compensate for showign less Championship football.

I must admit I too am a bit pissed at the BBC for not changing the 4-0 thing.
Maybe if our press officer tells them I KISSED A PUSSYCAT DOLL TODAY they may change the heading to,
Antipodean Morecambe fan fat n 50 managed to talk him, self into a peck on the cheek with 1 of the PUSSYCAT DOLLS earlier today. They were rehearsing at his studios at Fox Studios Australia when the sexy bitch known as Aspers was attacked by 1 of the Dolls demanding a kiss ( OK that's not exactly the truth but let's not let the facts get in the way of a good story eh!!)
Aspers will no longer be washing his left cheek (upper).
Or even New Ground gets underway.
Or even Fat n 50 begs for a kiss/ Finally at 50 Aspers kisses Pussy.
Anything but that 4-0 shite.

I feel a ramblings coming on.
