Yes very strange you would think they would wnat someone who has been in this league a bit and knows the players so they can build a team. Especially with Clough taking everyone to Derby.

The interesting bit for me will be how many versions of the spelling of Peschisolido there will be?

"peschilsolido" was a good attempt HM

I thought they might of gone for someone like lee richardson ex Chesterfield quite a lot of lower league experience

Will they automatically become known by Sky Sports as "Paul Peschisolido's Burton Albion" !

They can't possibly give the full title of Paolo Pasquale Peschisolido's Burton Albion FC

Only started watching Morecambe in December 2006(went to Wembly though :D ) . Because of that I didn't see any Burton Albion games so it will be interesting to see them play against Morecambe.

One of the best performances I ever saw by Morecambe was at Burton when we won 4v0 at their old ground. We played the best football I have ever seen us play and Riggo was brilliant.

I think the 4-0 win was at the Pirelli, though we did beat them 4-1 once at there old ground (fancy dress as army I think). Certainly one of the teams who we played well against on the road.

As HM points Burton did the double over us the season that we got promoted. If thats an omen then I wouldn't mind it happening again.

I also seem to remember a terrible performance in the Trophy there.

Did anyone (apart from those I texted) notice the big advertising board on the square leg boundary during Lancashire Lightning's superb victory at Derbyshire last week?

Just as Burton have moved up in the world.......

"DON AMOTT IS THE KING OF CARAVANS!"

I'd forgotten about that.

Think he is a non-exec director at Derby County, though not 100%

It's time he moved on from all this stuff and retired to the relaxing world of a football club like our Vice Chairman GH

Yes Don is still active and a Non Exec Director of Derby, he's recently given up as a Director at Burton Albion, I believe  ;) Yes we've been here before hav'nt we....
