Yeah but, Dave Barnes went away on holiday the last time we played at Wembley :!:

He couldn't even find a bar to show it either

The only snippet he got during the game was when we were losing

Automatic promotion isn't a game either.

Do you read your pm's MTID?

Our FA Cup 4th Round replay at Christie Park against Chelsea.

I won't spoil it by telling you the result and who got the hat-trick for us.

FA Cup First Round at The Giant Axe and seeing the Mighty Dollies knock Morescum out of the cup.
Failing that, Halifax Town at home.

Always the first game of the season is the main game unless a big cup draw is handed out. Get on that little mini bus and away we go. Come on the Shrimps

Believe it or not, we do actually.
And it's more than a little mini bus full too.
You'll do to remember the relevant populations of our towns.

Which doesn't explain why Lancaster with twice as many residents as Morecambe has so few supporters. I don't see your point on that one.

Lancaster is a City not a town. - I know a bit padantic! :D

I live in Lancaster, not far from the Axe. I think there are many Lancastrians who watch Morecambe so population sizes have got no relevence.

I'd rather walk in driving rain or snow to get to Christie park for a proper Game then nip down to the Axe to watch a load of Morecambe rejects have a kick about!

Beating Bratfud at home again would be a highlight, doing the double over them would be even better.

Interesting fact for you here mate. You see your keeper against morecambe on tuesday night Ben Price, he actually played for the morecambe supporters team for the last 2 seasons. So we know what team he prefers

sorry i know this had no relevance but i just couldnt resist

Just to be a little Pedantic, your figures are for the urban areas. Morecambe's also include Heysham.

If Lancaster's were to include the outlying villages etc it would be alot more.

I still reakon alot of Lancastrians like me follow Morecambe though, so like I said the figures are pointless really.

I would kinda like to beat Bradford [home / Away] , if only to see the back of jamesh and his ilk, a small minority I know but it would shut them up for a while.

I thought a good 'chant' at the Lancaster match would of been 'Where are you' as opposed to 'Who'. There was only half a dozen at their end and a 'strange' character stood in front of me in the open bit - a middle aged guy - who seemed oblivious to the fact he was amongst the Morecambe "throng" ? !

That was Fr. Anthony Keefe, the club chaplain, who had an article in the programme. I recognised him from when he was school chaplain at OLHS over 20 years ago. The funniest thing was when he, and he alone, shouted "PENALTY!!!" when two Lancaster players tripped each other up in the box!
