... On FM . Finally done it, just guided MFC to second place in the championship in the 2014/2015 season. Tried it on many versions on the game but this is the first time i've had the will-power to get us up. Had the save on my laptop since bloody xmas!
Got successive promotions in first two years then had a few tough years in the championship. Signed Rene permanently 1st year, and he is the only original player i have left in the team, (consistant scorer at all levels too!!), Stanners and Jimbo were only other players that i really felt were good enough to keep on and played ok in the championship. Bentley now my assistant manager!

Has anybody else achieved this on 08/09 or other versions, how long did it take and how did the Premier League go?? Quite proud atm, shame it may take us a little longer to get there in the real world Mind you alot of people say football manager is very realistic!

On FM 2006 I spent ages working my way up to the Premiership. If I remember rightly I won the conference in the second season although very fortunately, then I went up straight up and up again in to the Championship. Almost got relegated in my first season in the Championship but won the playoffs the following season. I think I won the Prem in the third season, slowly working my way up. I always wanted to win the Champions league but never got round to being bothered to keep going after the title win! Maybe I should go back one day....

i play FM09 all the time and every season i finish 22nd don't know why!!
