Two sub appearances as I recall, Barnet & Grimsby at the start of the season if my elephant like memory for detail is correct...

Why Samuel ever went to the Mail I don't know used to enjoy his article in the Times.

I read he left for a new challenge and the Mail were actually paying him less.

He has always had a bee in his bonet about loans especially in the Premiership where there is then an agreement that players don't play against their registered club.

Probably wanted his work to be read by a much larger circulation.

Word on the street is that he's making £400k at The Mail so I'm sure he can deal with it.

I'm not a big fan of his really. I remember about a year ago he had an article about the Gerrard v Lampard debate and he basically said Gerrard was rubbish. Wonder who his vote went to in the football writer's award.

He does not vote because he thinks they should vote at the end of the season.
The rules have changed for next season, (i think?) So he will vote next year.
