Referee had a shocker
Essien's goal was brilliant though.
So who thinks it was fixed?

I won't lie I deteste Chelsea and happy they're out, I want to say the ref cheated by then he wouldn't have sent Abidal off.
Sweetst moment i've seen in football seeing that cheat drogba's face

Errr yeh thats the point, he can't have been that bias if he sent the player off with no hesitation, even if he did somehow miss 4 penalties.

The red card was wrong decision
messie was fouled edge of box no card or free kick
both goals great
ref missed at least one cast iron pen decision for chelsea but then the overpaid mr drogba couldnt finish could he hop he gets a heavy fine for his behaviour
barca v man utd has a nice ring to it and imsur ewill be agreat open game
wasnt it the 91 cup winners cup between both sides?

Ha ha I don't think FC Barecelona got anywhere near the Champions League Final. Try Soccer Sixes at Heysham High

I think over the two legs the better team went through tbh.
However, Chelsea should have won the game tonight and Drogba knows it. That miss was criminal. I said at the time, the combination of missed chances and decisions that went against them, I could see something coming back to haunt them. Drogba didn't look that injured when he was remonstrating with the ref, he clearly had lost the fight once again after that shocking miss had resulted in his ego being dented (should have scored in the away leg also).
Chelsea should have gone for the kill. They didn't.
Once again they bottled it when it really counted on the European stage.

Made me think though, we often slag off lower league refs, but I can't remember one so poor
at a morecambe game i've seen.

that ref was awful today. He was bloody s**t, and even though Barcelona deserved to win from the two legs, because they looked the better side, they had one shot on target (in the 2nd leg) and it was a screamer at 95 mins.
however Chelsea should have won that easily, but with a better ref who would see that they were clear penalites, then it would be another boring final... but i for one would love for a definate english team to win again (an all english final) that would be brilliant!! I hate seeing foreign teams beating us!
but the best highlights of the game was
- Drogba shouting at the camera;
- Ballack, who i though was going to knock the ref out
-and when they were arguing in the studio after the game

I am gutted we are missing an all english final. Hiddinks post match conference was spot on by the way.
Sick of this handball debate. Why don't referees just be done with it, if the ball hits your hand deliberate or not FK or PEN. Yes sometimes unlucky bounces will be cruel and hit a hand but it gets rid of confusion. Plus the Ballack effort at the end may well have been goalbound and accidental handball or not, the ball hitting Eto'o could have cost chelsea the final.

Im glad Chelsea arn't in the final, diving cheating players and fans that boo them off at half time when they are losing. The look on their faces was very satisfactory when Iniesta buried them, maybe now they'll see Drogba for what he is......convinces his own manager he's injured through diving then moans when he comes off!
Now all that's left is for Ronaldo to miss an open net in the final meaning united lose.

If they got a Penalty, Frankie would of dropped on his arse and missed.
And the ref would get the blame for farting.

There's been a curious lack of discussion in the heat of debate last night about the penalty Henry probably should have had in the first leg.
Still shocking decisions on some of them though, although I feel some weren't as clear cut as Sky wanted us to believe. And Andy Gray can do one.

Is that when Iniesta scored or was that when a gentle breeze made him fall over?

You can't just not want Chelsea to be in the final because they 'cheat'. Nearly every single football player in the world would dive/go down easily to get their team an advantage. And as for Chelsea fans booing at half time, how would you even know that they were booing at the players? it could of easily been at the referee after his amazing first half display
It's just typical that MOST other fans from other clubs saying that Chelsea cheat when they know themselves that their own club cheats.

Barca have lost 3 of there 4 cast iron defenders.
1.Alves(to many yellow cards)
2.Marquez(injured)
3.Abidal(red card)
That only leaves Puyol!!!!

Thought Hiddink was well restrained after the match. Wonder how Fergie would have taken it if it had happened to United. Maybe we'll find out in 3 weeks.
