Hi

Everytime I've tried to access the index page of the forum today, I've been asked to download index.php. I've only been able to access it now as I suddenly thought to try coming directly to the general discussion page. However, if I click on "Board Index", I'm asked to download the file again. Is this a common problem?

Mark

I had the same problem today, but everything seems fine now, all working as usual, think networks have just had their knickers in a twist.
Thank god for that, I felt so alone

Get it right woman!
The names Curloid McWurly, I had no say in what my parents called me, but I'm not going to change my name by bargepole just because everyone takes the p**s and 12year old school girls ridicule me all night at the Axe.
It could have been worse, I could work in Dollys Diner.

if i am right then i think you guys/girls and firefox users.

Firefox will ask you to download it like as it does when you try to open an imagine.
so this would suggest that Firefox cant read the php script which effectively tells the software that it isnt a download. which in turn would suggest a failure of a server. this could be from either side. but its a common problem for firefox users so is likely to be there issue!

and they say open source software is way forward!

No problems today, I've never used Firefox, only Internet Explorer.
Initially I thought it might be a Kaspersky issue as it's great security but is a bit like a thoroughbred racehorse, doesn't bat an eyelid at noisy HGV's (obvious danger) but spots a peice of chewing gum on the ground and throws a right fit!!!
My computer seemed to see SV's as a dangerous intruder that it needed reclarification about opening, then when it did it didn't bring me to board index but opened some page that looked like it was full of machine code about SV's.

Tsk! Computers eh? you can't live with 'em and you can't live with 'em

Still, they've come on a lot since I was at school,

10 PRINT "Shrimps Voices"
20 GOTO 10
30 RUN

God love Mr Hagel!!!

It's a server error, been causing problems since PHP was upgraded on them a few weeks ago (Keith & I use the same hosts but different physical servers). I lost one of my sites but one wrong click and I got it sorted.
