when the two clubs with the identical main stand to ours ( Cheltenham & Woking ) have both been relegated !

Their old 'main stand' at the side is, isn't it? I think that's what sandgrown means.
Is the glass half full or half empty? Mmmm? hard to say - but it does look like there's room for more beer!

The ground that's most like our new one is at Shrewsbury, I'd take their record. Football's destiny isn't decided by the stands, it's by the people playing in front of them and the people making the noise on them.

Knowsley Road (St. Helens Rugby League and St. Helens Town FC) has a stand that looks identical to the main stand at Christie. Runs along one of the sides, although it does not straddle the half-way line like ours does. Roughly the same size, it is situated along one half of the pitch, the adjacent half being a small terrace which give gives the ground an odd look.

looks like it but its not a replica glen
its much smaller and wooden
whereas cheltenhams was bult around same time 1961/62 and im fairly certain kings lynn main stand is very much like ours

right ll get my coat just dug out an old black and white postcard of the pie 1992 will scan it and post
