Wayne's do tonight

Due to a lack of transport I couldn't get down tonight (to ask the usual ridiculous questions in abundance    ).

Was it a good turnout to acknowledge Wayne's on-going contribution to our success over the last decade?

Good answers to some good questions?

If you read this Wayne, I wonder if you recall the evening training sessions at Myerscough College when i used to take you back to Barrow due to you and your mate missing the 9.40pm train from Lancaster?

Have a good testimonial.

Brilliant evening, very well attended. Very few stories that can be repeated on a forum

Yeah was a very enjoyable evening and a great turnout for Wayne. David Allison and Lills were in superb form with, as you say, stuff that cannot be repeated  Glad we just got back from Exeter in time 8-)

Top table were brilliant and a great effort by Quinny ;) When asked who was the best player they had played with and against Sammy said "George Best and Johan Cruyff" - nobody could follow that!

Good turnout by the players too, well done ;)

yes good turnout by the locally based players. Drummy, Hunter , Stanners , Barrry Roche, Scott Davies, Dermaid O'Carroll , Andy Parrish and of course Wayne. Danny Carlton also there but was sat at The York Hotel table.
Sammy said he was very happy with the squad and there would be only a small influx of new players but he confirmed that this was in progress.
Some excellent replies by the panel most of which cannot be repeated and Dave Allison was relieved that no proper journalists were there to take notes !
