Something i thought went a little un noticed yesterday was the fact that it was our captains 300th game for the club yesterday, unless you bought a programme at the game then you would of had no idea about such a historic milestone. Maybe the club could of made an announcement over the tannoy or even presented him with a plaque to mark the fact as quite a lot of us ( myself included ) were not aware. This just goes to show though that on average Jimbo has played over 40 games per season for the club which in itself i think deserves a huge amount of repect and admiration and even though he is in his 30s now he is still looking as strong and influential as ever, Well done Jimbo, Here is to the next 100 hopefully.

Hopefully Jim can make a lot more appearances and then when the old legs cry enough we can find a coaching or assistant managers job for him, maybe with a long term view to him eventually being our manager. He's too good a man to lose! Some ex players make cracking managers, but then again some just can't hack it from some games I've seen this season ;)

Think Jim would be one of those who would succeed and I could see his players running through brick walls for him.

Once his playing days are over, we must keep Jimbo at the club in some capacity.

Greatest ever Morecambe player IMO.
