Bradford Goal or not?

From our seats in the centre stand their disallowed goal looked to have been just taken over the line by Barry.....but what the hell!

Well at least the assistant was in line with it! I have to admit that it must've been very close though! 8-)

I think we deserved abit of fortune to be honest. We didn't deserve to lose 4-0 at their place and how was their player not sent off for barging into Rene INFRONT of the ref? Anyhow, they are Bradford, and we are Morecambe, who gives a damn !!! ;)

/Agree

We've been robbed in too many games through dodgey penalty decisions, offside goals and jammy last minute equalizers. And Bradford put 4 past us earlier in the season through luck alone despite us dominating. The score was 2-1 and it was a fair result.

One Bradford fan said on their messageboard that Roche stopped it on the line and it didn't go in. And from where I was, I thought Roche had kept it out too.

The sky sports news reporter at the ground said the linesman flagged for offside!

If memory serves though, Barry threw it out so surely he was wrong.

Yeah we definitely deserved the win and the ref was great (comparatively) apart from that incident.

Friend of mine behind goal was livid...claiming it was over the line. Clearly was a turning point which worked in our favour.

The linesman (Mr.Cummings) did not flag for offside, I saw his signal to ref confirming no goal and he was in a perfect position with a clear view. Have to say I'd go with his view rather than that of anybody in the Main Stand 70 yds away.

You haven't moved to Odsal yet! That's going to happen later when you can no longer afford the £1,000,000 plus per season lease at VP

Forgive me if you've played at Odsal before we only go back to 1920 on here. Right I'm going to stop biting to one liners from the VI. See ya :D
