Just a message to those fans who think our defence is old and slow - played 14 and only conceded 9 goals and that includes playing against Andy bishop, grant holt, pawel abbott and Adam le fondre to name just a few - not a bad effort at all in my opinion

Our defence
is slow but they make up for it with their reading of the game and strength. If we're against a top quality pacey striker we'd struggle but we'd also struggle against a strong target man if we had a pacey defence without the strength. I think we need a young centre back with pace who can learn from Jimbo, Artell and Adams. Perhaps keep an eye on players from Prem/Championship clubs being released.

I agree callum pace is always a danger but there are more goals scored in this league from corners, set pieces and crosses take the luton and barnet games at home for example

Well said Howe Magic, not a lot of credit goes to our defence, the problem this season has been scoring goals, hence all the draws.Hopefully we may get a striker that can score a few next season, how about Fleetwood banging them in for Exeter?
