Does Anybody know when Wayne Curtis's testimonial is Going to be held at Christie Park?

He deserves it in my book hes been a FANTASTIC servant to M.F.C .

The testiminial isn't sorted yet. He has the race night mentioned above and probably a Q & A session the day after the last match this season.

A match has previously been mentioned. How about a pre season or end of season friendly against maybe Barrow with all proceeds going to Wayne. He's a Barrow lad and has been on loan to them twice, so their fans may also turn up to pay their respects, plus we usually get a half decent crowd against them so 7-800 at say an average of £5.00 per person would be a really nice tribute to a lad who has been instrumental in our rise in the football world!

Looking at Wayne's testimonial we were looking at a Wayne Curtis XI v Sammy McIlroy Legends XI at Christie Park and a Morecambe Legends v Barrow Legends game on the same day.
We haven't found a day yet but we will of course keep you informed.
Don't forget SV readers have first chance of getting tickets for the sports forum at Christie Park on Monday, April 27. Guests Sammy McIlroy, Dave Allison and Alan Kelly.
