"McCall’s Wembley dream is not dead but, with the likes of Brentford, Morecambe, Dagenham and Chesterfield lying in wait over the final month, the rocky road ahead is strewn with nasties. It makes the Deva pitch look like a bowling green. "

Hmm, do I detect a hint of bitterness in Mr Parker's tone, or was he just practising his superlatives for Good Friday? I liked the reference to their manager in one of the reader comments.... Mr FcCall!!!

Attendance 2,700 but I thought Bradford were taking thousands and Chester had given them two sides of the ground.

1078 they took to Chester on that basis they wouldn't need the car wash.

Wioll be intresting to see especially if they get another bad result on Saturday.

It seems they had 500 tickets left for the car wash as of Friday, as you say it will depend how they do against Brentford this Saturday. A win and they will probably shift them pretty quickly and be on here talking about their fans in the home end, a defeat however and they might struggle to sell their allocation.

If they don't sell the lot, we should only give them half of the Car Wash side and let our regulars have the other half.....with some segregation between the two.

We've sold 200 for the Car wash already and if we've sold 1,400+ in the time we've lost 6 away on the bounce im sure whatever result we get on Saturday wont make a great deal of difference to whether we sell the last of the tickets in the car wash.

They don't deserve our support, that much is true.

Chester sent 1,900 tickets our way only 6 day's before the game. How on earth are we likely to sell 1,900 tickets in 6 days especially considering our away form of late.

We still filled nearly 2 stands at chester. ;)

At least Morecambe have got the right idea. If you're going to make the game all ticket, get them sent out as quick as possable to leave time for the punters to collect them.
